In order to update the specialized production technology of industrial paints, Rang Afarin Company signed a cooperation and technical knowledge transfer agreement with reputable global companies in the field of paints and coatings such as Sodet of France, Star of Norway, and Shokogo of Japan.
Rang Afrin Company began serving the automotive industry in 1969 as the first manufacturer of automotive paints. To date, it has supplied a large portion of the paints needed by automotive industries such as Iran Khodro, Saipa, Zamyad, etc., as well as dozens of automotive component manufacturers.
Since 1993, in response to the needs of the shipping industry and at the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Company and the National Iranian Tanker Company, Rang Afrin Company began producing various types of protective and marine paints under license and in cooperation with Star Nowoz Company. Due to the transfer of the Norwegian company to the American company Carboline, this company has continued its activities in the field of protective and marine paints under the license of the Japanese company Shokogo since 2007.
